Cliff Dumas is a CMA and ACM award winning Hall of Fame broadcaster. During his 30 year career Cliff has written and produced dozens of TV specials for CBC, CTV and Global. Cliff is a Mark Award winner for excellence in broadcast marketing, and also teaches communication and leadership skills to major market broadcasters in the U.S. and Canada.
Consistently referred to as one of North America’s leading technology architects. Mr Fota is a seasoned technical veteran with over ten years experience in VP and C Suite positions. He has considerable experience and proven track record in building software development organizations from the ground up, and bringing enterprise software products to market.
Specializes in providing corporate finance, valuation, taxation, financial reporting, consulting and more to both small businesses as well as public companies. Has had extensive experience as a controller and CFO of numerous publicly traded and private corporations, such as Intact Gord Corp, 88 Capital Corp, Scorpion Resources Inc and more.
Rolan is a veteran brand marketer and ad tech expert. He’s managed large CPG brands like Corona. Has worked with multiple start ups, like GTG which sold to Oracle in 2011. He lead them to revenue scale by managing millions in media revenue, with partners such as, Disney, AOL, Appnexus and SpotXchange. Most recently Rolan pioneered the international expansion of a digital ad platform (iClick) into the US. His strong experience in the programmatic advertising ecosystem, ability to scale revenue and operational knowledge are key leaderships skills.
An experienced CTO with a decade in AdTech technology design and architecture. Architected and designed the database infrastructure for the UK’s first internet bank. After becoming an ad tech entrepreneur, he built and ran several businesses leading to a sale of his greeting cards business to Hallmark Cards plc. Chris has built platforms for some of the icons of the internet including Local Inc., systems that scale and generate tens of millions of dollars in revenues.
Coming from a career with a strong background in digital product, Brennan specializes in creative direction & ideation across all things UI + UX. Before Uber, he spent 5.5 years at Tesla leading and managing the UI + UX design product across their luxury EV platform (Model S, X, 3), designing consumer facing features such as Autopilot, etc. Brennan has also held positions with Apple, Droga5, Netflix, and Faraday Future.
Spencer Proffer, CEO of music and media production company, Meteor 17, and Megacast, have formed an alliance to work together on select projects where they utilize each other’s formidable skill sets to add more disruption to the universe and raise the bar on their joint activities. They have partnered on several digitally powered and multi platform ventures including a worldwide radio franchise entitled “Inside The Music”.
Mike Pine is GM of FanDuel‘s Integrated Partnerships. FanDuel works closely with professional sports Leagues and Teams (NFL, NBA, etc.). Mike’s other accomplishments include, Turner Broadcasting/CNN’s Senior Director of Partnerships & Sponsorship, Global Head of Sales & Partnerships for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Global Chief Sales Officer (CSO) for the World Triathlon Corporation, dba IRONMAN and Vice President & Global Head of Sales for the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC).
A driving force in the Vancouver business world. He was with KPMG 1987 to 1991 where he obtained his C.A. designation in 1990. Member and past President of the Vancouver chapter of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and a founding director of the Vancouver chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE). Was a 12 year member of the Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, a former Director of The Vancouver Board of Trade, and past recipient of Business in Vancouver’s 40 Under 40 Awards. A mining entrepreneur, professional geochemist, geologist, and the President and CEO of Goldrock Mines Corp., Paul Matysek brings more than 30 years of business and leadership experience to Megacast. He was the Founder, President and CEO of Energy Metals Corporation (“EMC”), a premier uranium company which he turned into one of the fastest growing Canadian companies by increasing its market capitalization from $10 million in 2004 to approximately $1.8 billion upon acquisition in 2007.
Mark Holden is the former Co-CEO and Founder of Gener8 Digital Media Corp., one of the industry leaders in the conversion of film from 2D to 3D. Prior to Gener8, President & CEO of Hip Digital Media, a global leader in online music and media distribution, Mr. Holden was responsible for Hip’s corporate vision and operations. Previously, he was vice president of iTiva Development Corp., an internet video distribution company. Mr. Holden was one of the co founders of E-Zone Networks (“E-Zone”), at one time, the world’s largest private digital entertainment network.
